I am beginning to do my research about where the food I buy comes from. I want to ensure that I by good, organic, locally grown food. However, when it comes to meat products, not many local people sell this at the farmer's market. The store brand that claims to be all natural is called "Nature's Place." Does any one know how to find out what big companies own these store brand names? I've started to research on my own, but I'm finding that I'm only going in circles. Please, if anyone knows how to look this up, please let me know.

I don't know where you can look those up, but some things you may also want to take into consideration are what it really means when food is locally grown or organic.
For example, an organic farm surrounded by inorganic farms still receive a ton of pesticides. Also, foods with short growing seasons or inedible peels tend to have little difference between organic and inorganic in terms of pesticide residue.
As for locally grown, local doesn't necessarily mean better for the environment. Locally grown sometimes means grown on land that is less suitable for the crop, which ends up requiring more energy use, more fertilizer use, and a less nutritious final product.
Just some points to consider.0 -
I don't know if this might be a lot of help but, you might get at least some useful information in there... http://www.fao.org0

You might want to try your local agriculture extension office (if you live in the U.S.), they may be able to direct you to someone within your community who grows local and healthful meats. Your local farmer will appreciate it. One thing to also consider is the amount of antibiotics and other medicines/enhancements used as well as the what the animal is fed to reach the slaughter weight. We grow our own and are all grass-fed, antibiotic free, steroid free and chemical free. Generally grass-fed beef has higher Omega 3 and is leaner. Good luck.0

Sounds like you are referencing "Hannafords" where you reside in Maine.
Im in New Hampshire, hi neighbor!
Hannafords is actually supposed to disclose where they get their organic foods/meats/products... Im sure if you talk with the guys in the Meat Dept, or even if you spoke with the corporate office, they would help you.
Also... where you live in Jonesboro... consider talking with
