We found these bugs in the kitchen of our summer house and my grandma is afraid that it might be white ants please can someone tell me what these bugs are?

    Looks like a wasp to me.......... can't see the size - hornets are like wasps but around 2 or 3 times the size of a wasp, so if it's big it might be a hornet.

    It's a hornet or a wasp. Both are dangerous. Both can sting multiple times and often sting without provocation. I'd get an exterminator in their ASAP.

    I would say it is a hornet, as you can see it is huge!!! Wasps are so much smaller....

    Worst sting I've ever had came from a hornet. I was about 8 years old. I still have a scar.

    Wait till night to get rid of the nest.
