So I had some pizza for lunch: http://i50.tinypic.com/m9ptsw.jpg
The orange part represents how much I had, but can't figure out how much of a whole that is in decimals!! Total brain fart. :(
Can anyone help?

It looks all orange on my screen. Is it 3/8? That's 0.375. If you need to do this again, Google "Fraction in decimals."
  • Five-eights, or .625 of the pizza.

Aha! thankyou!! That was really driving me crazy xD
  • No problem. What's really fun is when a recipe is listed as 1/6 on the database and I want an 1/8 counted... fun times.

What are they teaching in schools these days? You don't have to use google to convert a fraction ffs. The line in a fraction means DIVIDED BY. It's 5 divided by 8.

:| I learnt this in school, passed my Maths GCSE with flying colours. It's just the first time I'd tried to turn my dinner into a Math's problem, had a brain fart, as I said :P
