so, i've been around for a few weeks & while i've made a few swell friends, i'm still looking for some that are, i don't know, more like me. here's what i'm looking for. these are also things that describe me.

• you have firm goals & are working hard to achieve them
• your vocabulary contains a lot of four letter words
• you know that there are 65 calories in an ounce of jack & budget for it
• you read books, but never ones that are considered "mommy porn"
• you like real music, which means none of that lady gaga/lmfao/bieber business
• you know the difference between your/you're, their/there/they're, it's/its, etc.

a braintwin would be awesome, but, you know, if one or two of these suit you, feel free to add me or give a shout hello.

I'm a beer drinker (GOOD beer, not the low-cal s***), and thus have to budget more calories for a night out, but otherwise, I'd say we're on the same wavelength. :-)

I'm the absolute polar opposite of you (other than the grammar queen aspect) , but your topic did make me LOL, so I'm giving you a 'bump'! Best wishes! :flowerforyou:

aw, thanks. very kind of you. & i'm glad you, too, know the joys of proper grammar, even if we share nothing else. :)

I'm a fan of JD, alternative music and good literature. I'm also incapable of speaking for more than 30 seconds without cursing, despite possessing a rather wide vocabulary.

You can add me if you like, I've been told I have a mouth like a steelworker (or truck driver, sailor, marine... I've heard them all). I didn't know how many calories were in a shot of Jack, but can rattle off calorie counts of beers like I have Asperger's syndrome. I've broken up with guys over their text message grammar, and I read whenever I can.
I've been known to listen to pop crap on occasion, ****in' sue me. I just love music.

  • A goal listed on my profile: get hot enough to sleep with a B-rate Hollywood actor (theoretically). I'm kind of thinking someone along the lines of Jason Segal. We could rock it awkward-style. I also was at Target today and glanced at that horrible 50 Shades of Grey book, because it was recommended to me at a wedding. I had to resist the urge to throw it down an aisle. I've accidentally already started my daughter with four letter words that start with S, and I enjoy rum more often than periodically. Oh yeah, and I mean business about getting thinner. Also: from a former Floridian, what is your opinion of your home state?

oh man, the things i would do to jason segal. the awkward, awkward, dirty things. ha. that alone makes me want to be your best friend.

as for florida, it's the worst state ever. the penis of the united states. i hope someone comes along & circumcises it, because it's really giving the rest of the country a bad name. i mean, we started the cannibal trend, you know.

Pleze ad me as you're frend. I are real good at gramma and speleng.

Seriously, I'm on my second gin and tonic and am still way under my calorie goal for the day. Exercise makes all the difference.

I work in a production area so I often sound like a sailor. These days I drink more beer, but Jack & Diet was my drink of choice in college. Finally, I actually started talking to a guy that I ended up dating for awhile because his profile commented that he didn't want to talk to people who write 'ur', 'r', and 'y'.
