Steam, sauna and jacuzzi, good, bad or indifferent?
My friend and I are having a pamper morning tomorow there is a pool but also we will be able to use the steam, sauna and jacuzzi. Is one better than the other I know I'm mostly going to lose water but can i burn calories or as I fear I still need to get in some extra excercise? We are planning on being there three hours.

I love the jacuzzi just because I don't like the suffocating feeling of the steam. Just make sure to drink plenty of water after. If your looking for a higher calorie burn though then better plan on that extra exercise.0

They don't burn calories. They're fantastic for relaxing your muscles. That's it. I don't know where people get the idea that heating up = calorie burn. Your body doesn't contribute anything to the heating up process in a jacuzzi, sauna, or steam room, so no calories burned.0
