Working out and body temperature

I am wondering if anyone else has this problem. I am a very hot natured person I usually keep my house at or as close to 68 as possible and am typically comfortable up to about 70. Since I have started working out I've noticed that a few hours after my work out I am freezing cold. Is this normal?

    its probably sweat cooling you and/or needing to refuel to replace your glycogen stores. low blood sugar. this does happen to me!

    The only time this happens to me is if I let myself get dehydrated.
  • This is a sign of dehydration and/or glycogen depletion.

    Be sure you're taking in plenty of fluids and try eating more carbs prior to working out and/or low carb-high sugar fruits immediately after working out.

    I experience this every single time I work out. I am good and healthy.

    I am drinking a ton of water and I just finished eating. I typically work out pretty late after dinner and try not to eat again after that although sometimes I do snack. Today I ate dinner afterwards but Im still cold. I'll work on drinking a little more water and see if that helps but I feel like Im swimming already...lol. Bah...Im farking shivering Im soo cold.

    I experience this after working out but only if I stay in my workout clothes for more than 15-20 minutes after the workout. If I change into some clean, dry clothes within 10 minutes of working out I don't feel the cold quite as much. I work out in the basement which is considerably cooler than my second story bedroom and I try to turn on my window unit so my room is cooler after I get done. I don't know about you, but lately I feel as though I've been sweating more than normal during my workouts, which is another reason I try to make sure to change into clean, dry clothes right away.

    If I say in my workout clothes (i sweat A LOT) , or go directly to a place and just veg, I get really cold. If I come home and shower and stuff, I'm normally good.

    I get this too, but if I shower/bath as soon as I get home it warms me up. Changing into dry clothes without showering still has me shivering. Gotta get in the hot water.
