I am a slooooooooooow loser. It was so de-motivational for me for years, but over the last few months I decided to stick to my exercise programs for benefits other than the scale being nicer to me.
Benefits I enjoy are better moods, fighting off depression, libido boost, less stiffness from arthritis and lots more! Of course, being able to dance for more than a single song without getting winded is also way up there on my list!
Yesterday, during my work out, I said "Huh...this is easy now. I need a new routine". That's a NSV for me!
My 15 second cardio interval has turned into a full 45 second cardio interval. That's high knees folks. That's a biggie for me! Another NSV.
Planks made me feel like a wimp. Now I plank, plank twist, do mountain climbers and more. Yup. NSV for me!
Finally, although the scale is a like the mean girl in high school, and hasn't budged in over 3 months, I do now fit in to a pair of pants that only made it up to my thighs 4-5 weeks ago. HUGE NSV!
Next NSV goal - fit in to my size 12 linen capris before I board a plane for Greece on August 2 !

Good for you. It's always great when the work out is too easy!! And I stay away from the scales, weighing only ever other week. Much more motivational for me.

            Thanks for the support

I will try to put the scale away. It's still being mean, but I feel good so I'm ignoring it!0 -
That's an awesome NSV! Lately I've been feeling the same way, and the scale, perhaps as a result, has stopped moving as well. Which I guess is a sort of success in another sense. Your positivity is contagious :flowerforyou:0
