Bump thanks for recipe I have heard this is good for water retention. Does it taste like cucumber water? I am going to try it but wanted to know what to expect. My cure for bland water is sugar free Koolaid and I add my own sweetener Nunaturals Stevia. I loved koolaid as a kid and still do as an adult but no added calories of sugar.

I infuse my water with different fruits and veggies all the time...... Pears and cucumbers are one of favorite combos.......
  • no the cucumber isnt over powering if thats what you mean, the ingrediants all blend togeather nicely and yes it is amazing for getting rid of excess fluid....ginger is also good if your feeling a bit sick, all in all its way better then just plain boring water

Sounds great, I've been drinking ginger steeped in hot water - nice and warm now winter is here.
I must remember this one for summer.

I don't know exactly what it means, but most people put it up there when they're trying t o keep a thread at the top of the list or when they're trying to add it into "my topics" so they can find it easier later.

Where do you buy the mint leaves? Are they in the fresh produce section or are they a dry spice/seasoning?

I like to drink the broth left behind after cooking pinto beans. It's tasty and full of nutrients.

Because of it's gas-producing effects, we call it "Assy Water".

thanks for this, I'll try it tomorrow! I usually use MIO in my water, they come in all sorts of different flavors and they're sugar free.

I made iced tea with David's tea - butterfly jasmine this weekend - just brew the tea, let it cool and then add ice (no need for sugar either) i love it. So refreshing, thanks for the sassy water recipe i will have to try it.

I find mine in little plastic containers with the salad mixes in the produce section.
