When entering meat portions here are we to use the raw meat weight or the final cooked weight? My sirloin patty was 5 oz precooked and 3.8 when it was done.

it depends on the nutritional data you're going to use with it.
If you have data for raw meat then you need the raw weight. Or data for cooked meat based on raw weight.
If the data is for cooked meat then use the cooked weight.
Just be consistent, don't multiply a cooked analysis by a raw weight or vice versa.0 -
WELL UNLESS UR EATIN IT RAW MEASURE THE COOKED WEIGHT. IT WILL NEVER B DA SAME WEIGHT AFTER U COOK IT. IT WILL ALWAYZ B LESS. IF U MEASURE IT RAW & LETZ SAY DA MEAT IS 5 OUNCES & U LOG 5 OUNCES THEN AFTA U COOK IT ITZ LESS THEN DAT LOG IS INACCURATE0
