So here is a short story..
When I started my weight loss journey I was about 210, the highest ever was 219!! I did a lot of cardio and some strength training, also changed the way I ate. MFP has helped a lot! I currently go to the gym for my exercise and it seems to be working for me. I currently weight 179. My progress should be more, BUT.. I stopped exercising for like 3 months because I moved and got lazy. I started about 2 weeks ago and am ready to finish this journey. I want to lose 10-15 more pounds and then as a gift to myself, purchase a workout dvd, p90x or insanity. So after that loss I will be at 160-169.
If you have tried either, what is your advice? Which do you think is better?
Thanks

I have both. Are you into cardio? Insanity would be your thing…., be warned…, it’s tough if you aren’t into cardio. It’s 60 days. P90X is a well rounded program, with some of the DVDs having cardio. It’s 90 days. Your choice….
ps..., See if the library has them for you to get a looksie.0 -

I have done both. I reccomend insanity. P90x is great as well even though you need certain items todo the program. But if your main focus is weight loss, I would go with insanity, You will lose much more weight with that over P90x0
