Exercise before or after dinner?

And if after dinner, how long should I wait? Thanks

    I usually try and do it before I eat. If I do it after dinner, I try and wait at least an hour.

    Before dinner.

    When you exercise your body burns calories, it activates your muscles and sends signals to the body to use up energy. After your workout your body is in the perfect mode for accepting new energy (protein, fat, carbs) for restoring lost glucose and repairing (building) muscles.

    I typically follow up my lifting routines immediately with a protein shake to give my body something to work on while I drive home to prepare dinner.
