Rowing Action Exerciser

So, after being called into work on Saturday, I decided to spend all my hard-earned overtime pay at Marshalls right next store. They had a "Pilates Rowing Action Exerciser" for $13 so I decided to give it a try. I am NOT a good self-motivator, especially when it comes to exercising on my own, so buying this was definitely a leap of faith but so far I really like it. It's really low resistance but there are multiple exercises I do with it in different positions, I have space in my small apartment to use it, and I feel soreness in my abs, arms, and legs the following day
I was wondering if anyone else out there has tried one of these? Did you see positive results with it? Which one do you use? Mine is incredibly basic: just latex banding with foot stirrups and a handlebar (but what did I expect for $13?). It's the Bally Fitness version...are there others someone recommends with more resistance?
Thanks!
