A lot of people say peanut butter / apple plus peanut butter, etc. Personally, I hate peanut butter - so am suggesting almonds, walnuts and dried apricots. All pretty calorie-dense but also healthy (not exactly desirable to add junk to your diary solely in an attempt to increase your intake).0

Have a sweet snack
If you drink milk, have whole milk. Nuts are good
Try some Skinny Cow candy or ice cream.. If you eat or drink anything low fat etc..try switching to full flavor stuff. Make Smoothies
Those are my new favorite thing.. you can add all kinds of fruit and you can put protein powder, fiber powder.. that stuff will add calories.
Personally, I'd go for the sweet treat!
Good Luck!0 -
Make sure your eating nutrient dense foods, fruits, veggies, whole wheat breat, whole grains, proteins (lena meats like chicken, fish) etc. I dont mean to disagree with anyone else here but "sweets" arent gonna help you just so you can make your caloric goals. Thats like drinking a bunch of orange juice full of sugar then saying you made your calories. Its not doing anything good for you. While I may agree thats its better to have a Skinny Cow ice cream instead of a regular ice cream dessert, these are not meant for you to fill int he gaps in your nutrition. Heck, if that was the case, go to McDonalds, theirs plenty of things there that will give you your missing calories...see the problem..? I dont mean to be mean to anyone, but nutrition is truly a science that can become quite complicated and can totally work against you if not done properly. Hope this helps you.0
