Hi everyone. My name is Chantal and I am trying to lose 60 pounds. I have tried before and it didn't work. But I am really willing to try now. I just have a hard time with food. If I know I can't have it, I'll want it that much more.
If anyone could help me out. What kinda things should I be eating ?! How much walking should I do ???
Please. I am so tired of being over weight. I just need some help.

Calories in vs calories out will determine how much to eat and how much to walk. Stay away from the packaged goods and focus on what God had placed on the earth for us and you'll do fine. We're here for you Chantal!!!0

I pretty much eat the same thing EVERYDAY but it works then I eat what I want on the weekends. Stick to your calorie goal then reward your self with a much deserved day off!!! GOOOOOOD LUCK!!!0

Hey Chantal, i am in a similar position with food. I LOVE food, especially pastry and cake and chocolate, which is terrible really lolol so basically here are some tips to lose weight:
~ Use a white side plate, or smaller plate than normal plates, and fill that with a balanced meal that includes lots of vegetables, etc.
~Only cook a small amount that you plan to eat to stay within your calorie goal. This way, you won't be tempted for seconds!
~Chew tiny amounts at a time, put your knife and fork down after every bite, and chew what's in your mouth at least 30 times before swallowing.
~If you're tempted to eat late at night, make sure you go to bed before 10:00. For me, i tend to want to eat nothing but biscuits and stuff at about 10-11:00, so you can alter it if you see a pattern.
~Drink at least 8 cup of water everyday
~Walk short distances three times a day, and just stand wherever you are able to sit, like on the bus, for example.
~If you have a supermarket quite near your house, make a habit of walking there and back everyday to buy your dinner. Don't keep your cupboards stocked unless you're likely to get snowed in. Only buy what you plan to eat that day for dinner or to save half for the next day. Again, only cook what you're gonna eat.
~Don't even buy sweets, cake, or crisps - it will only do your brain in!! You can have one treat a week.
~If you really want a chocolate bar, walk to the shop and buy a dark chocolate bar - even if you don't like dark chocolate much. Dark chocolate has the chocolate flavour with little or no milk and usually less sugar. The caloruies tend to be lower in dark chocolate, but if the calories are no different from milk chocolate, it will still be better because you won't crave chocolate after because it is richer and satisfies your cravings. If it doesn't work and you feel guilty, do zumba!! Get it on Wii, it's really fast and fun and i love itt!!:D Burns SO many calories it's unreal!!:DDD
~If you're out and about looking for something to eat, don't buy a sandwich. Choose a salad or a simple bread roll on it's own, or sushi is really healthy too. For a drink, choose water, or if you must, diet coke (1 calorie lol, however, don't drink diet sodas often or the chemicals can make you put on weight, and will blow out your stomach) Water is much more hydrating.
~If you're bored, just walk - outside, in your house, anything! Or jump around randomly like a kid, be hyper, it really burns calories, and makes you feel happiii:D Put on some music and dance, hoover, garden, anything that doesn't involve sitting. You can also play Wii Sports with friends.
~Eat dinner early, about 6:00, you won't be tempted to snack.
~For lunch, eat soup - make your own, or buy it in tins. They are low in calories, especially Heinz Chicken noodle soup (126 cals for a tin) and keep you full until dinner. Don't eat bread with it. Some weekends, i crave chicken super noodles, but they have like nearly 500 calories in a pack, so i encourage myself to have chicken noodle soup as an alternative. Always feel so much better after that, proud, and healthy. Also, after eating super noodles, all i ever want to eat is chocolate and cake and stuff, and after chicken noodle soup i'm fine!:D
~If you struggle to keep your mind off food, go clothes shopping, go for a walk, stay away from food as much as you can until it's time to go 'hunt' for your dinner...a la supermarché!:D0 -

Stick to your calorie goals given. Here's a couple tips...
- Eat the foods you like. Being unhappy is no way to go.
- Focus on small goals. Say start with 5 pounds at a time don't make seem to difficult.
- Everyone is obsessed with numbers. Focus on NSV "Non Scale Victories" drop a pants size great that's where you want the success not a magic number that goes up and down all the time.
- Have fun, stress is the reason why alot of people are out of weight. Don't be that person that doesn't go out with friends because of your going to panic about calories. You can always exercise and plan ahead for those events.
- Don't look at easy ways out. Crash diets and cleanses are just bad-aid fixes.
- View it as a life style change not a diet. Diet is a nasty little word that I don't care about.
- You don't lose weight over night. Its more about having the self-confidence to do it.
Lastly
Your the only person that can lose weight for yourself. You'll fail if you don't give it a 100%.0
