Try getting the yoplait smoothies they are quick and it will give you something to atleast hold you over, Also try packing your own lunch with premade snacks like carrots or grapes or apples stuff that you can eat on the go gives you little snacks and keeps your metabolism going, I work EMS so I am an expert at eating on the go0

When I am in a rush in the morning I grab a clif bar for breakfast. Every week I buy snacks bars and keep them with my vitamins so if i want a small meal on the go i can just grab one and leave.0

i read somewhere 6 small meals a day, i don't see how anyone could actually do this0

I'm in a Military, so I guess it's a little different. When I wake up in the morning food is pretty far from my mind. After PT and before work I grab some fruit or protien shake (Special K or SlimFast) and drink/eat in the car on the way to the office.0

Do what works for you and fits your lifestyle. If you don't like eating breakfast because you don't feel hungry you don't have to eat it. The mantra that eating breakfast will aid in weightloss or that you should have X number of meals a day has long ago been debunked as a myth that is still repeated over and over again. The important thing for weightloss is having a calorie deficit over the day. Doesn't matter what time of day you consume the food or how many meals you have.0

Meal planning has helped me a lot. I also work in health care and its so easy to get caught up and forget to eat! I eat breakfast at 5/5:30am, usually some oatmeal or an egg on a piece of toast with coffee. Then I might bring some fruit and yogurt for a morning snack that I usually have to shove in my face quickly in between seeing patients. I have also recently been trying different snack/granola bars. The Think Thin Crunch bar kept me stuffed...I ate it as a snack at 10am and it kept me going until about 2pm when I finally could get lunch. I wasn't even too hungry but I knew I needed to eat if I wanted to get in a good workout after my shift. Basically I decided that my health and well being are important and I have to put myself first in order to be a good care giver! I know that I will do better at my job if I am well nourished so I take the time to eat. Good luck with your new lifestyle! You will find a routine that works for you, it just may take some trial and error.0

Not true. You must maintain a constant flow of fuel in the body to maintain your metabolic rate. 6 small meals a day is the standard that most nutritionist will tell you. You need to eat in the morning because your body has entered "starvation mode" when the body is not being fed it will hold onto everything it can which will cause you to retain fat storages in the body. In the morning your body has gone for a long period without nutrients so it is important to get something in so that the metabolism will be kick started for the day0
