Include warm up and cool down in # of mins exercised?

When I'm recording my number of minutes exercised, do I include the warm up and cool down minutes? I don't have a good heart rate monitor and I don't see myself getting one soon unless one of you kind folks sends me one......so I'm relying on my basic HRM watch to make sure my HR is above 80% and then using online calculators to determine cals burned. These are based on minutes, so what do I consider?
Tonight, I did the Turbo Jam kickboxing. The video is 48 minutes long total. About 6 minutes warming up and then there's some band work and cool down at the end. So, what do I plug in?
Thanks!!

I was told by a trainer at the gym not to include warm up/cool down because your heart rate is not up, so I usually take 10-15 mins off the time I work out.0

I would log it seperate, intense for the main and then moderate for the warm up and cool down0

Even if you are in warm up or cool down, you should be burning calories as long as you are in your target fat burning heart rate. I would count whatever time is spent in that zone. I will stay on the treadmill until my heart is out of that target range.0

I just count actual workout time, no warm ups or cool downs. I use a stopwatch app on my phone, or the timer on my fitbit to help keep track. Best of luck!0

I could be wrong, but I usually split it up---for my videos I do a 5 min mild stretching, the 25-35 minute high cardio, circuit or whatever and then the 5-10 min stretching yoga (only because I know that is what is at the end). Like I said, most would probably say I'm wrong, but it is what I do........0
