I'm intrigued now-- just signed up to receive a free DVD to try it out.

I saw the informercial for Insanity and it looks crazy, but I love that you lose a lot of weight. What did you think of it if you don't mind me asking? Is it really as hard as it looks?

Ok, I will see how the dvd I get looks... It sounds awesome and like a good next step. I like that you don't have to buy a lot of equipment. I want to do P90 but I have nowhere to put a pull up bar so i'd be SOL.

I was (and still am) pretty out of shape and I've been able to complete 1 round (both months) of Insanity and have already started the 2nd round. I had really good results in the 1st round. I increased my overall fitness level, dropped 30 lbs, and lots of inches. Regarding the difficulty, it is daunting the first couple of days, but I found that as I became more confident in the workouts I was getting more out of the workouts. I would recommend Insanity.

Power 90/P90 doesn't use a pullup bar. P90X does, but you can substitute the pullup bar exercises for a set of resistance bands with an overhead door hook. You'll need some heavy duty resistance bands to simulate the resistance you'd get from pullups though. You'll need ones rated at 60# or more.
