it gets easier the more you use it :) once you've entered most of your regular meals and snacks at least once everything's close at hand to go in and add again.

Hello & welcome. This is a very useful, awesome site. You will find that people here are very encouraging. If you have a question, someone will probably be able to help you. Again welcome. Feel free to add me if you'd like.

as a former WW user--welcome! i'm finding MFP to be FAR superior in so many ways. the social network aspect of it really goes above and beyond the support i used to get from weekly meetings. having the daily interaction makes the process so much more fun. i get so many great ideas from looking at other user's food journals. PLUS--and to me this is the most important--i'm learning WAY more about nutrition and my daily wants/needs from tracking calories, fat, protein etc. versus just points. Points didn't really teach me anything about nutrition! I felt like it was just a numbers game. So welcome to MFP and feel free to ask me any questions!
  • That's funny you say that, because I feel like THIS is a numbers game... To be honest I'm kind of turned off by how I have to track my fruits and veggies. I'm planning my meals for tomorrow, and am left with like 300 calories for dinner, and I've hardly even put anything inn my tracker! I feel like I'm going to be so hungry! :(
