Hello!

It's just over 10 weeks until my wedding day.

I'm super excited but also very busy in my spare time with other celebrations and of course, finalising my plans.

I'm short and pretty slim but really want to lose another 7 pounds to look my best on the big day!

I am quite good at sticking to MFP when I'm at home, working full time and stickling to a regime but when I have plans like going away for the weekend to visit friends, family or for special occasions (like my hen) I always seem to slip up!

Has anyone got any tips for being good when you're not at home? Also, what drinks should I drink on my hen weekend that are not too calorific?

Thanks

xxxxx

Drink vodka, lime juice (NOT LIME CORDIAL/SYRUP, make sure it's actually fresh squeezed lime or lemon) and mineral water. Not beer. Not vodka + soft drinks (what you North Americans playing along at home call soda/pop). Not wine.

Do you have a smart phone? Log your foods as you eat them via the MFP app.
It's only 10 weeks, that's 10 weekends. You can do healthy options for 10 weekends. Subway (no mayo or cheese and pull the excess bread out of the bun), a couple sushi rolls, chicken salad. Make sure you go tomato based sauces if you eat out, not creamy ones. Get side salad instead of fries or chips. Don't even tempt yourself by stealing a chip off someone else.

    10 weeks! Congrats. I'm 10 months away.
I drink vodka lime & soda. Very low cal alcohol. I think vodka diet coke is very low too. I would also recommend 30 day shred (workout DVD). I did it in April & lost 5 lbs and 6.5 inches. Loads of brides do it before the big day. Good luck xx

I feel for you, I have the same issue. I just got married in May & had the same challenge of sticking to healthy habbits during weekend celebrations. You are very close to your goal & can definately reach it by your wedding day. Just keep to your routine everyday & when you are together with friends, try not to stray too much. But if you induldge on occassion, so what, just dont over do it & compensate for it by upping your exercising routine & maybe have a day or two under your calorie goal the day before and/after. Usually if I knew I was getting together with friends, or had a party to go to, I would get up early that day & fit in an extra exercise routine. I reached my goal by my wedding date because of Jillian Micheals. Now, since if I can just get back into the routine & stay at my current weight, I'd be so happy!!!

Also, there is a line of low-calorie drinks called 'Skinny Girl' - wine, margaritas, sangrias. All very good.
