Hello,

My name is Rob and I have been having a keck of a time with my weigth. In 2006 I moved to Omaha Nebraska for my job. I had a fiance at the time and we broke up when I moved. I had no firends and nothign realyl to do, so I motivate dmyself to cut our all carbs and run and weight train. I wound up losing like 25 pounds!! I moved back to VA in Jan 2007, re-hooked up with my fiance, and started a new job. We bought a house in March of 2008, got married in May 2008, and I have just packed on the pounds again, as I am back up (as of last week) to about 215. I decided to start counting my calorises and keeping on top of my fitness level but man counting calories just SUCKS!!!....until I found this site. Let me just say I am now excited about entering my calories, entering my workouts, and trying to stick under the recommend calories.

I am an avid mixed martial artist as I have been doing Jiu-Jistu and Muay Thai for years, but recently it has been hard to shed the pounds. I just wanted to take a moment to post a little about me and thank the myfitnesspal.com site for helping with the calorie counting.

    Hi Rob -
Welcome and I do so agree - counting really bites. This site makes you be honest with yourself. I'm working at getting my A1C down (I'm diabetic) so I won't have to start insulin. I love the fact that my extra work outs count for something, too. Keep smiling~
