Alright I was doing Jillian today and she was saying while I was doing a sit up how I needed to keep my belly button to my spine. Ok when I do a sit up the first thing my belly button does it go up. Does anyone have any idea how I can change this??

Just keep your stomach tight. Try to keep your lower back flat on the floor at all times and concentrate on keep your stomach tight....like your steeling yourself for a punch in the gut. This helps engage your abs and allows them to do the work instead of using momentum to "jerk" yourself up.0

although i dont do it myself al the time (but i try) is while sitting watching tv or on the pc or just walking around doing everyday chores i pull my belly button to my spine and tighten my buttocks a bit just so when i do my sit ups or crunches it doesnt feel so foreign.....hope this helps. Might be helpful:blushing: make sure you posture is good when doing this.0
