Low carbers, i need your help

Hi Guys
As much as i am not trying to do a low carb diet i am currently half way through a three day detox diet which i have just noticed has an average of 50g of carbs a day.
If i keep this up will i get into ketosis or is 50g just too much?
Any advice or knowledge you can share is grately appreciated - please feel free to add me

You're not going to go into ketosis in a day and a half... Generally ketosis will start around 40g or less... But if you're not trying to do a low carb diet then I'm not really sure what your plan is

50g is probably too much for ketosis, though it is an individual thing.0

Thats a shame, i was hoping i could gently slip into ketotsis and just keep it up. Thanks for your help0

Well it would depend on how much exercise you're doing/how active you are. Some people may be able to reach ketosis on 75g while others may have to stay under 25g.0

Im not overly active but i only really get out of the office to walk so i probably only burn about an extra 200 cals a day (other than the weekend when i play rugby)0

50 shouldn't do it, if you wonder if you are go pick up some test strips - they have them in drugstores and online. On my low days, I barely read "mild" on them so at 50 you should be fine. If you want to start it, try dipping lower. Good luck hun.0
