Crashing after my workouts

Does anyone else experience a serious crash in energy after their workouts? I feel sooo amazing while I'm working out, but it seems like as soon as the endorphins wear off, I just crash. It seems to be about 30 min to an hour after I workout for 30-60 min doing 30 DS or zumba or something.

I'm thinking it could potentially be anemia, but I don't want to jump to conclusions. I have been trying to eat a high energy snack within 30 minutes too and that doesn't seem to help much.

Any ideas on what I can try to avoid the crash?

    Lately I've been exhausted ALL the time (no matter how much sleep I get or how well I eat), during my workout I'm fine but soon as I get home, if I sit down, I'm done. My naturopath thinks it might be low adrenal function, which is apparently quite common in women my age (late 20's early 30's). So now i'm on an herbal tincture to see if that will help.

    Actually I had a friend who found out her adrenal glands were shot from having too much stress in her life... I can definitely say I've had way too much stress in my life lately with a full time job, new baby and an ill mom... I need to go see my naturopath again. Thanks for the insight. You described me exactly. Eating really clean doesn't seem to help my energy levels either. I hope the tincture works for you!
