Pain in the Mits

Ok, I'm going to swallow my embarrassment here and ask for some advice/help.
I've managed to lose a bit of weight but still carry excess in my belly & of course the moobs, mitties, call em what you will. I've been doing a lot of running in the last couple of months, regular soccer and have recently added weight training to the exercise regime & I have been doing a lot of manual labor in the garden. In the past week I have started getting a sharp "tearing / ripping" pain in my right moob, not when I lift anything or dig in the garden but mostly when I go down stairs or run or change direction quickly and the moob bounces a bit. It feels like a bandaid getting ripped off inside the breast muscle or a velcro strip getting pulled apart. It's a sharp pain and it goes a quickly as it appears, there's slight tenderness in the whole area but no sign of bruising or anything.
Google searching brings up typical horror stories varying from a simple muscle pull to a full on alien invasion.
Anyone else experienced this and can offer advice on what to do - I'd rather not stop my exercise routine but more so don't want to force an injury that would result in a long-term problem.

Get a compression tank or compression tee. I had this issue with my belly when I started running. Compression tank helped a lot and I no longer have to wear it.0

Thnx for the suggestion - unfortunately i started wearing compression tops a few weeks ago and while the pain is slightly less frequent when wearing one it still happens - can wearing one cause these symptoms?0

I think I prefer mitties. to moobs :grumble:
Sorry, I haven't a clue what's causing the pain, but if it's stabbing, it might be worth getting checked out. Could be muscular? Or perhaps you've torn a tendon? If you don't want to bother the doctor, ask a pharmacist... they often have a good understanding of symptoms.0 -
Maybe hormonal , I used to have problems with my mits sore nips, low libido etc , my testosterone level was very low, doc put me on testosterone injections and been fine since . Can't harm to get it checked . The testosterone in the injections are similar to the ones some body builders abuse0
