Unsure of acceptable body fat %

I hopped on a friend's scale today that told me my body fat percentage is 24.4%. I'm taking this with a grain of salt because I have no idea of how accurate the scale is, but just out of curiosity - where does that body fat % put me?
There seems to be a lot of conflicting info on the net, can someone provide me with a reputable source/link?
I'm 170cm (nearly 5 ft 7in) and currently weigh 66.1kg (145.7 lbs). I was wondering what insight knowing my body fat percentage could provide for figuring out my goal weight? I'll have to wait to get assessed at the end of the month at the gym for a more accurate measurement.

I think between 20 & 30% is acceptable for a woman.
I want mine down to between 20 & 25%
For visable abs I think your body fat % needs to be between 10 & 13%
Men body fat % is lower than a womans - our breasts, hips etc all add to ours.0 -
Your body fat % will change as you lose weight and gain muscle.
Try one of these sites to calculate your ideal weight or your healthy weight range:

You seem to have a good percentage though, it's definitely normal for a female.0 -
I trained as a personal trainer - 20-30% is acceptable for women, but personally I am shooting for 15%
Any lower than 15% and it tends to interrupt mensturation.
Men is usually from 10-15%0 -

Thanks for those links. Apparently I have the body fat % of an athlete. I find this incredible, lol! )0 -
Thank you everyone! I have a much better idea now of where I am at. Funnily enough a lot of the recommend ideal weights for me are around 60-61kg, which is where my gut feeling was pointing to.0
