I have never, repeat never felt great after running 5k (or any-k). Usually I just feel knackered and it takes me anywhere from 30 minutes to a couple of hours to recover. So my question is: do you feel great after an exercise session?

I don't normally feel great AFTER, but I often feel great DURING. Sometimes I'm out running and I just smile because I'm still amazing myself. Afterwards I normally just feel tired and sweaty!

I feel awesome after running 5k; tired, but awesome.

Sometimes I feel tired prior to but great (and hungry) after.
I guess it's that adrenaline rush?

I feel great after a workout. :) I just did my c25k followed by a long walk, and I feel awesome. The only time I feel whooped after a workout is if I don't get it in until it's bedtime. Then I'm whooped, regardless...

I always feel great AFTER a run - because it means I'm done!

Right after a 5K, I'm usually trying to get out of the way so I can go double over somewhere and wonder if maybe I need to puke. 5 minutes later I'm fine. Bagels and bananas help.

If you're talking about non-race running, I lately feel sweaty (hot and humid out there) but not that different than usual.
