Is swimming every morning 6 days a week for 2 hours with a club team enough to keep me in shape and maintain my weight? Do I need to run too?

That should be plenty to keep you in shape. You are using all of your muscle groups, and if you are moving for 2 hours a day, you shouldn't need anything else0

Yes plenty you are working a lot of muscles in your body (areas such as feet, arms, back, abs, etc) it is one of the full body exercises.0

absolutely. I swim 4 days a week in the summers and I see a dramatic difference.
To get the most out of your swim
1. Do intervals.Sprint swim one lap and slow down the next.
2. Vary your strokes to make sure you get some variety.
3. instead of adding running - add strength training instead. It will make more of a difference0 -
Yes and no. You will be in great swimming shape and you can look fabulous. If you BF is too high, that battle will be won in the kitchen. But many coaches will obviously want for you to incorporate some dry land training as well. My daughter's college swim coach made her start running too. She's like a fish out of water, but she will get better at it. Some strength training is also done by her team.0
