Anybody from Austin, TX??

Hi! I just started this - really last week, but Halloween weekend threw me off! Just wondering if there's anybody from Austin, TX who might be on this site and looking for a workout partner or motivation. I'm a chick, 41 years old and trying to lose 10 - 12 pounds. I live in South Austin, and love to bike, walk, hike and sometimes work out at Gold's. I'm a school librarian, so I usually exercise in the afternoon around 4:30 (or after, depending on the day). I'm also always up for going to get some healthy food (Whole Foods, Casa de Luz, Bouldin Creek, Leaf, anywhere...) or getting a group together for a potluck. If so, let me know! Maybe we could help each other get our acts together!!!

    I'm not from Austin but my favorite band -- Third Eye Blind -- is filming a video for their song "Bonfire" there tonight and anyone who goes will have a chance to be in the video!!!

    (Yes, apparently I'm a crazed fanatic. :laugh: ).

    Yeah, that would be great! I have my Mom in town for the weekend so I'll be a little tied up, but maybe we could meet up for a walk around town lake and some dinner at Casa de Luz sometime next week! Let me know...
