Yeeeeeeeessssss!!! Haha. Okay, so, for the longest while, I was on this site but not really doing anything. So two weeks ago, I started exercising regularly again -- like, every two days if not every day. I started eating way healthier and making much better food decisions; I've cut down on my sugars, and I bought organic sugar for my tea, and tea is another change. I've avoided unportioned, unhealthy sweets. And I've stopped eating late at night, unless my calories permit me! And even then, it's a healthy snack (like a granola bar or celery sticks). And I've been drinking a LOT of water. I haven't even had coffee in two weeks! I'm simply amazed I went this long, considering I work in a coffee shop.
Anyhow, basically, in two weeks, I've managed to lose 7 lbs from this! YAY! I know my thing says six, but that's because it thinks I started out at a pound less than I actually did. Haha. Though I guess I did start out at that when I originally started this website months ago.
But yes, I'm pretty happy about that. I don't expect to lose 7 lbs every two weeks of course! I'm amazed I lost that as it is. But I'm so happy, because it means I only have 7 lbs to go until I'm 200, and one more after that to be under 200. I haven't been under 200 since my first year of university.
I think the BEST part of all of this is that I managed to turn this into a habit -- a lifestyle. It's not something I absolutely haaate doing. It's something I'm being VERY conscious about, and going to the gym and exercising is just natural to me now. As is watching what I eat. I never thought I would break through that barrier.
Also, another great realization is that I now know also that treating myself won't put me over the edge. On Halloween I had TONS of chocolate and chips, and was devastated the next day, thinking I would gain all this weight. But I maintained 209 (at the time). :-)
Anyhow, sorry for the long post!
