My Summer Promise

What promises have you made for summer? MIne is to continue drinking lots of water and to continue limiting myself to no more than 2-3 diet pepsi's a week.

    My friends are walking 50 miles each month. However, I am already at 34.5 miles and may need to "up" my goal.

    Mine is to drink more water too and walk more. I can't wait until I order my Fitbit next weekend.

    To start riding my bike (bicycle) to the gym every day!

    I'm going to get to my next training program - I have 38 pounds before I go to what I'm fondly calling my 'cut' program.

    I'm going to walk 100 miles a month, and keep my water high and my sugar intake low.

    To run at least one 5k every month. I did one in April, missed May's Mother's Day run due to a concussion. My June 5k is tomorrow and I'm registered for a 10k trail run on July 14th and a 5 mile run on July 20th. Can't decide what race I'm running in August as there are so many to choose from!

    to go to a class every weekday at the gym june-july.

    ok, the first two are every day promises, but I cant tell myself these enough - they will ALWAYS be my top two

    1) To make time to love, teach, and enjoy my kids
    2) To be the husband my wife deserves
    3) To hit the beach with a six pack on my stomach, not in my stomach
    4) To hit untouchable status in the HBC - one week, 10k burned...just once...for now!
    5) To turn 40 feeling younger and stronger than the day I turned 30!
