So i drove home yesterday, and I was craving KFC. I have one outside of my work, but I said no. So i got home, and a KFC commercial was on, but I said no. Then my fiance speaks up, "I feel like KFC", so I said...okay :(

I got in my car and went to the closest KFC... 0.o They were shut down (don't know why, I didn't look at the notice).
So i turned my car around and went and got some chicken salads.
That was a close one..

Someone other than yourself stopped you from having a KFC lol. Lucky you >.<

Seriously, if you had KFC, it wouldn't have been the end of the world.. You could have exercised a bit to off set some of it, or made alterations to the meal that would have made it not as bad.

Sometimes I'm sure there is something looking out for us when we're going to make a bad decision. Well done on making a smart choice - you could have easily gone to another store! It makes you feel stronger huh.

I had KFC the other day. I ended up eating TWICE my daily calorie allowance. :(
  • Well..I did break, looked at my husband last night, said, "don't judge me" and had a bowl of ice cream lol...First time in months I've had ice cream. I was still under my calorie intake so I didn't feel too bad about it, other than the fact it was at like 11:00 pm. Oh well, I will get over the guilt. Good for you for not giving in like my weak self

lauravasseur, that's not weak! You were under your calorie intake and it's the first time you've had it in months. Dont keep it up, obviously, but you're allowed to crack occasionally. Well done on being honest :)
  • Thanks wrecktechno...The sad part was, it wasn't nearly as satisfying as I thought it was going to be. The good part, I finally realized what makes me want to snack! Money stress lol...when we are are having money issues (my hubby is self employed so its feast or famine over here) it makes me want to eat! At least that part of it opened my eyes a bit.
