Hi there
I've just joined MFP. I'd like to trim down and firm up in order to build my self esteem and to hopefully, finally, like what I see in the mirror each morning.
I've been struggling for some time, but I've finally gotten into the groove of healthy eating and I've started to lose weight. I joined MFP to keep the motivation going.
I'm a bit concerned to be told I'm not eating enough calories. I don't feel hungry and I'm currently enjoying what I eat - I have a free day on a Saturday, which is more like a free meal on a Saturday, so I'm not sure that I want to eat for the sake of it.
Can anyone suggest anything that might help me to build up the net calorie thing?
Thanks, and hope to chat soon.

my thought on that is, if you are full, your body is satisfied. I wish I had that problem. I am constantly hungry.0

Okay guys, I am a newbi. I have only been on here about 3 weeks and only really active 1 of those weeks. I have type 2 diabetes so my goal is simple. Its not about the pounds or the size but I want to be off of my current medication. Simple, right? Not so fast, I forgot to mention I am a bit of a lazy butt! I have a million excuses on the tip of my tounge and can always come up with one. So really I think that is goal number 2, quit with the excuses.
I hope that in time I will not only lose enough weight but the eating correctly and moving about will be come a lifestyle and not a burden or something that I really hate doing.
Best of luck to everyone!0 -

I used to be hungry all the time, I got over it with drinks oceans (pardon the pun) of water, and even more before i ate, if I get hungry now I eat someyhing light.
I does get easier hang in there.

That's what I thought, but as I was adding my food diary for the week, the little note at the bottom basically said eat more and reach your calorie goal otherwise you'll end up retaining weight rather than losing it.
Do you drink lots of water. That helps to keep you fuller for longer. I don't drink much myself, so I'm sort of forcing myself to pay attention and drink more. I do find I'm constantly going to the loo however!!0
