I just had a baby a week ago and I am itching to get back to MFP.... how long should I wait before starting to count calories again? and if I am nursing how many calories should I be eating a day to safely lose weight and not mess up my milk supply?
TIA!
TIA!

I would wait 4-6 weeks. Simply because your body needs time to heal completely. I add breastfeeding as an exercise that takes off 500 calories. MFP has it as a negative food but I didn't like adding it that way so I created my own exercise.
Congratulations on the new little one and way to go breastfeeding!!0
