Hi,

I started using MFP on Sunday. A friend recommended it to me. I moved to the UK two years ago due to my job. It was a great time to do it since my divorce was just finalized. I did well when I got here when it came to working out. I got a trainer and lost some weight. Some how I started to slide again and put the weight back on. I decided last weekend that I need to start again. I have now been logging in EVERYTHING that I eat this week and have stayed below my calories each day. I have workout each day this week either swimming or spinning and next week I plan to start working out with weights a few times a week. This time I really want to do it. I bought myself a dress that I would like to wear when I go to Italy in September to celebrate my birthday. Additionally, I have a friend who is visiting me in October who I have not seen since I moved here two years ago and I would like to see the look on her face when she sees how well I have been doing. Even more, my parents will visit in November and I know they would be so excited for me when they see me. These reasons are not why I am doing this they will just be insperations. I am trying to lose the weight for me. I want to be healthier, more active and feel better about myself. Maybe then I will feel like entering the dating arena. I have read through a number of the success stories on this site and they are so inspirational. I look forward to this experience and meeting/communicating with other people going through this with me. Thanks for everyones support.
