How many calories can I carry over to another day?

Got a big weekend ahead, and have over 800 calories left today, which I don't need (could snack them this evening but don't need to). Earnt loads from exercise today. Am I ok to save the calories for tomorrow for my birthday?

One day is not going to kill you. But since it's only 1:30 in the afternoon today, you cannot go through the rest of the day with no calories. You need to eat to lose. Your body should eat every few hours, even something light, to keep it fueled to burn. If you go over alittle to morrow, it's ok as long as you don't make a habbit of it. And that being said, you have lost almost 30lbs already, you must be doing something right so if you want to "treat yourself on your birthday, go for it!

That's fine. I don't worry about meeting my goal for each day; I just add it up for the week.0

Absolutely. I don't think I would have maintained my loss for a year if I didn't bank some calories for the weekends.0 -

What she said. Its a lifestyle not a punishment. Enjoy your birthday guilt free, you have so much to celebrate!0 -
You'll burn a little extra muscle on the day with a large deficit and store a little extra fat on the day you go over. Net weight will be the same (assuming you meet the same caloric deficit as you would have under regular circumstance), but your body fat will be slightly higher. Over two days though, the difference is negligible.0
