My 17 Day Journey

Good Day All,

I am fairly NEW to My Fitness Pal, opening my account on 5/29/12 (also the same day I began my weight loss journey). I have logged in every day since that time...

During the past 17 days I have been working out on average about 4 times a week, and I have sustained a 1,350/day calorie diet...I play close attention to my net calories, so on occassion I have eaten the calories that I earn by exercising. I have learned that this is not something "to do", but more of a life change. I do not feel deprived, and I still eat the things that I want (on occassion), but in moderation!

I have never been in a position to HAVE to lose weight, but I guess getting a little older and not being as active AND eating like a hog has driven me to be more conscious of the decisions I make regarding my health! Seeing the numbers drop just gives me motivation to keep moving forward... I have lost a total of 7lbs, which is not a lot, but it is a start.

I would like to loose a total of 43 more pounds, and I can honestly see that in my near future... Just take it a pound at a time... I wish all of you the best of luck on your weight/fat loss journeys.

You all may not know it, but your blogs, and success stories REALLY encourage me to keep moving forward!
