Basically meats. Of those, I usually find fish to have the best ratio. Most anything lean will usually have less than 10 calories per gram of protein.

The order I'd put them in for most protein vs. least calories:

    Fish. :)
    Chicken breast
    Lean Pork
    Lean Beef
Egg Whites (you need to eat a lot to meet protein requirements, but I do eat a lot of them, lol)
    Cottage Cheese (high sodium)
Plain non-fat Greek Yogurt (higher sugars)

Whey protein powder is also agreat source of protein!!

For a little variety: natural beef jerky (i.e.: not the kind with MSG and a ton of sugar). Mom and Pop beef jerky with just meat and a little salt, or chile or something. Relatively low in calories too.

Tuna - drained from the brine in the tin (water packed, not oil packed) virtually 100% of the calories are from protein,

Like said above, generally lean meats. You can also try soybeans/edamame - they're pretty good too. 130 calories for 1/4 cup + 14g of protein.

Technically speaking it's Whey Protein Isolate. But for whole foods, definitely lean meats like chicken breast and egg white.
