Calling all Lushes!

Is your love of Booze keeping you from your fitness goals? Are you chunky because of Chocolate? Is your morning Latte(s) standing in the way of you reaching your ideal body? If so,lets be friends. I would love to know that I am not alone! I have been on my fitness journey for almost 3 years now. I left MFP for about 6 months and realized, after I gained back almost 10 pounds, that I can not do this without the support of MFP.

  • Letting go of all the breads, chocolate, coke, morning coffees has been the hard part for me. I'm trying to stay focused but get sooooooooo tempted!

So far giving up cigarettes has been easier than my food addictions. : (

I'm losing, slow but sure, but when I read my food logs, I see a lot of cheese & nuts ...... I'm sure that holds me back a bit ..... and I do like my glass of wine or a gin & diet tonic :drinker:

I definitely find that alcohol makes my weight loss a bit tougher. I can do great all week, but then once the weekend starts I often go downhill when my social life kicks in. Been trying to remember my drinks enough to actually log them later and that has helped me cut back.

when I drink, I mix hard liquer with fruity diet soda (why don't bars use them, I don't know), or I use the DiVinci sugarfree syrups (for coffee drinks). I have also started buying "Bud Select 55" beer (only 55 calories) I can drink 3-4 beers & have NO guilt at all.
