I tend to have a few high calorie burn days a week (today was 1177) and the days I have them, I have trouble eating more than 1400-1500 calories without feeling queasy. However the next day I'm famished. Does this happen to anyone else? I figure as long as I'm rehydrating and my end of the week numbers average out, I should be ok, right?

Do you drink any of your calories on those days? Instead of food make yourself a smoothie with veggies and protein. Might be easier to stomach.0

Maybe I should try making a protein shake after my workouts.0

Protein shakes are a great way to get extra calories wothout a lot of bulk0 -
I was having the same problem. I ride nightly and a good 10 mile ride will burn 800-900 calories, At the end of the day this was leaving me very low on the calorie count. To pick up some of these calories I started making protein shakes (I only drink them after a workout). 2.5 cups of vanilla almond milk with 2 scoops of EAS Vanilla Whey protein powder. They taste pretty good, are about 500 calories and your body will appreciate the protein after a good workout.0
