I love indie/alternative: Daughter, Andrew Bird, Neutral Milk Hotel, Said the Whale
But I also love all forms of dance/electronica: Flux Pavilion, Delta Heavy, deadmau5, Benny Benassi, Daft Punk, Knife Party

After this, early Beatles stuff (like their Hard Day's Night album) and anything Led Zeppelin. Favorite Zep song is Bron-Yr-Aur (not the stomp version). Surprisingly easy to play on a guitar, 12-string or not :)
Solo guitarists: Steve Vai, Peter Frampton, Yngwie Malmsteen, Joe Satriani, Chris Poland... and when I'm feeling summery, Stevie Ray Vaughan or Led Belly...

Thanks! I'm 25yo and never got to listen to these artist live or anything. But I love 70"s music and appreciate it almost more then current stuff depending on my mood. The creativity and freedom then would have been something to experience.

I've only gotten the chance to see them once and that was in 2010 in Ft. Worth on The Resistance tour. They sure as hell better come back to the US on the tour for the new album. I'll be there for sure.
