So I haven't been "myself" by which I mean a normal weight that fits my personality in years. The before picture is about 2007 in California with my ex where I was so depressed I couldn't even muster a good fake smile. The afters are this morning after ridding myself of MOST of my bloat I've had this week,

I can obviously see a difference because the shirt/pants I wore were about 4 sizes bigger. The shirt was a 2xl and I wear a L now. My pants were a 40 and I wear a 36 now. I have self esteem issues after years of mental abuse though so my self-worth needs some work.

In the last few months I've lost about 3 inches in my chest/hips/waist each.

The dff between pic 1 and 2/3 is about 30lbs I'd say. I had been hovering around 250 for awhile, I got down to 212 when I was in Europe and right now I am sitting right around 220-225 depending on the day. GW is 195 but we will see. All I care about right now is fitness and my appearance. The weight doesn't matter much to me.

    Hot damn.
  • You are doing just fine! Emphasis on the "fine"! You look awesome!

Don't know if you are looking for any more online support, but feel free to friend me. I just started myself, so I understand...and I understand the mental abuse and self-worth issues. I've dealt with them most of my life, as well. So, I get it.

That's an awesome difference! Totally visible. You're doing great.

The self-image stuff is the hardest. Losing weight seems easy peasy in comparison. I feel the same way most of the time!
