I have been diagnosed with Eustachian Tube Dysfunction. Ware are the symptoms that are normal for that and have any of you dealt with that before? I feel so much pressure in my head and I keep getting real bad headaches. I also feel dizzy. My doctor has started me on steriods and a nasal spray, do any of you know of any way to alleviate the symptoms?

I'm sorry to hear that! I hope the doctor explained where the tube is and what it does?
The scuba divers on here will all be well familiar with it - if it is blocked, you cannot equalize your ears and feel intense pressure. Like if you were gaining altitude after take off in an airplane and couldn't 'pop' your ears.
The easiest way to learn how to control this is to pinch your nose and gently blow. Because you've pnched your nose shut, the air instead travels through your tubes to your timpanic membrane (ear drum) and equalizes the pressure. If the tube is blocked - which often happens due to a cold or allergies - the air cannot get to the ear drum to equalize it.
I'm not sure what E tube dysfunction would entail, but the only thing I can think of would be sudafed or something similar and it sounds like your doctor is already on top of the medicinal options.
I wish I could help. Other than VERY gently trying to equalize your ears as decribed above to try and clear the tubes I just don't know. If it works for you, over time you'll be able to do it without pinching your nose. Even yawning often will do it.
Let us know how it goes. I've felt what I imagine would be that type of pressure and it is not nice.0 -
