WHY AM I BLOWING UP LIKE A BALLOON

On days I make sure to exercise and eat super well, I'll notice that my body looks "okay", and then when I skip exercise for only 2-5 days, all of a sudden I just BLOW UP again in my stomach/mid-section and my TINY little definition of waist that I could see a little just disappears and I'm back into the ruler shape again. Is this water retention? Because if so, I retain water a LOT. Over SMALL things, and I am getting extremely tired of it. Any idea of what this could be? Like yeah, I did consume some alcohol with sweet lemonade the other night, but if I blow up like a balloon because of that, well, I guess I'm out of luck because that sucks ALOT. Ugh..

    I have that unflattering temporary stomach bloat as well. It's probably a combination of full stomach plus gas plus crappy posture.

    Well, it's a full stomach but I see the bloat in my love-handles. AKA my waist disappears, and I just lack a shape all-together and it just depresses me everytime I look in in the mirror.
