Bodypump

I've been doing these classes at my gym. I'm loving them and I feel like I'm really pushing myself. If I lift weights on my own I tend to not do as many as I should or skip things I don't like. In a class I do all the push ups and the squats etc. Plus, there are these women who have been going to it for years 3X a week that look amazing. Talk about inspiration! I know it isn't heavy lifting which a lot of people on here talk about, but I feel like I'm making progress. I'm waiting for the New Rules for Women Lifting book at the library and I have a feeling it is going to be the exact opposite of Bodypump. Anyone else have thoughts about bodypump or similar classes?

i do bodypump once, sometimes twice, a week.
I love it - the music, the group element & how it makes me ache the day afterwards.
Cant say exactly what body difference it has made given i also do lots of cardio & im watching what i eat.
According to my HRM i burn between 400-450 cals for a BP class.
I enjoy it though so thats a good enough reason to carry on for me0 -
I love BodyPump, I do it once or twice a week. Any exercise you enjoy, must be worth doing. I love the music, the atmosphere and the challenge.0
