Does hunger mean I need to eat more??

I have been on MFP for about 3-4 months (this is my second account, my first one somehow was deleted) and have been pretty successful. I am seriously training for a marathon and exercise/run at least an hour almost everyday. I am used to surviving on and being healthy with a calorie defecit. Lately, I have been extra hungry (no I am not pregnant) and feel like I am eating all the time and way too much. Does anybody have any suggestions on types of food that will keep me satisfied longer? Do I need to consume more of a certain nutrient? I am not a diet or nutrition guru and I am open to suggestions, especially from runners or endurance athletes who have had similar issues.

Not necessarily. Making a dramatic change in your caloric intake might cause you to feel that way. I would up your protein intake, eat more meat, more fiber, etc. Those kinds of foods tend to leave people more satisfied.0

You're at a significant deficit on some days, try eating all or at least a greater proportion of your exercise calories, and up your protein. You'll need all that energy for Marathon training!0

Not a runner or endurance athlete but is it possible that you need to drink more water? I get similar feelings of hunger when I forget to drink enough water. BTW kudos on training for a marathon which is awesome and I wish well on that.
Edit for wordiness.... said water too much!0 -
How large of a calorie deficit per day do you shoot for? Do you 'add back' exercise?
I think filling foods have more protein, fat and fiber. Eggs, avocados, beans, lean meat...0
