How many of you log your vitamins? The ones I take daily have 75 calories and 17 grams of carbs. This can make a difference in staying within your dietary guidelines.

I only log them so I can see I remembered to take them.

I log them. I'm trying to maintain a minimum number of nutrients for my pregnancy, and this helps me make sure I'm hitting at least the minimum. Whether or not they are effective is a whole other manner, but I'm taking them and I'm logging them. I'm also eating as healthily as I can on top of it. :)

My vitamins don't have a significant number of calories. If they had 75, I would log them. You'd log a 75-calorie cookie, wouldn't you?

I put them in the NOTE section of my diary and do not consider the calories.
What would that add anyway - not even 50 calories?
    Not worth it....

Yes, I log them because they are chewable and have calories.

I do log mine. I was just wondering if others did.

I take a calcium supplement and I log it so I can see if I'm getting close to 100% dv of calcium. It has 20 calories too, but I'm not so worried about that part.

    I log mine!
  • I log mine...total of 60 cals a day. I do it to keep a count of my daily nutrients like calcium, iron, vitamins B12 and what not.

    This :)

75 calories seems high for vitamins... have you considered taking a different brand?

    I don't.

But now that I think about it, I think I'll just add another 5 mins to my cardio routine.

I don't log it but I take them daily. I just see it as insurance for the nutrients you don't receive. Perhaps I should start logging it but then again I'm not too interested in how much Vitamin B I consumed today

I log mine - I take 2 fiber tables (16 cals), a Viactive ches (20 cals) and airbourne chewables sometimes (19 cals). That's 36 cals daily, sometimes up to 55 if I'm feeling like I'm coming down with something. Definitely worth logging as I'd have to walk for about 10 minutes to get the burn if I went over by that much!
  • I log them to keep track of them, but I'm not concerned about the calories from them... just that I remember to take them.

I have had weight loss surgery, so I take a liquid vitamin to help with the absorption. Pills sometimes move through the digestive system to fast to be absorbed properly and since I have started taking the liquids, my labs have been perfect. So I will make adjustments for the calories and carbs. Small price to pay for good health.
