Hey thanks. We've had Netflix for months, and I only use it for the kids. I'll have to check some of these out.

Circus - it's a fascinating PBS reality show about the lives of performers and crew of the Big Apple Circus.

And Archer is HILARIOUS but is definitely for watching only after the kids are asleep in bed!

Dollhouse (This one is also done by Joss Whedon, who did Firefly as well as the new Avengers movie. Do not be dissuaded by the name, it has nothing to do with dolls. There are only two seasons, but they are amazing. The first two or three episodes do not have much to do with the story arcs that do start to develop very quickly, they are more setting up the principles that guide the show. You need to watch through them and allow the story arcs to develop, and you will be rewarded. This show is amazingly written, beautifully put together, and with hands down the best acting I have ever seen. I'm not even a particular acting fan, but the acting in this is noteworthy. Also, keep an eye out for Wash from Firefly. ;) Also, and I can't stress this enough: DO NOT READ SPOILERS for this show. If you do, you will be robbed of the most shocking plot twists I have ever seen.).

Battlestar Galactica (2004). There are other people who have recommended this, I just finished it and it is amazing.

How I Met Your Mother. Most people have heard of this, and I think most people watched it before me, but I would say it's the best written sitcom I've ever seen (last season's finale excepted, but you can get to that later ;) ).

After you have watched all 14 episodes, watch the movie Serenity. It's "season 2 of Firefly in a one-stop movie format" - all the same cast playing all the same roles, and tying up lots of loose ends that were left hanging when the series got canceled.

I also realy like the UK series "Being Human" (just finished Season 1)
