Depression,anxiety,weight gain pills and success?

Hi I suffer from terrible anxiety and depression and often do no not even have the motivation to even get up and face the day let alone go out for walks/runs,I find being out of the house a extremely anxious situation to the point of panic attacks,and I also lack motivation to do exercise in the house,it's like a no win situation,some people may think how can something mental effect you do bad or think I'm just lazy but that Is not the case,I dream of having a social life,gym life,being able to keep friends instead of isolating myself but it just doesnt work,also the tablets I am on cause weight gain,I guess my question is can I still lose weight by sticking to my calorie intake or will it only work if I have to go gym? Thanks

Hi, I personally go to the gym but that is because i enjoy it....
I think if you do something you don't enjoy then it will just demotivate you. I'm sorry to read about your anxiety and depression and really hope you are able to overcome it and until you feel like you want to go to the gym/work out outside or work out at home then cutting calories will definitely work! I know someone who used fitness pal to lose around 4 stone before they even began thinking about working out...they just stuck to their calories. I only go to the gym 3/4 days a week and those days i eat back most of my calories....the days i dont go to the gym i try and stay around my 1200. I hope this helps.... Please dont feel like you cant do this because you totally can! Some people exercise...some dont and if exercise isnt currently for you than you can definitily lose it by sticking to your calories.
