favorite workout music/song?

i usually listen to top 40s, but i get sick of my playlist pretty quickly. what is YOUR favorite song to workout to?

Replies

  • Usually listen to a variety of music...except hip hop or rap. Mainly rock ...harder the better!

I know it's kinda cheesy, but I'm obsessed with "Warrior's Call" by Volbeat. Can't get enough of that song!

My favorite is the Rocky 4 soundtrack. I also like songs like footloose, flashdance, proud(biggest loser theme), and anything I can visualize myself in some sort of competition. If you can see it-you can be it.

I'm in the same boat, I like listening to top 40 when I work out because lately everyone seems to be putting out dance music. Buuuut like you said, it all gets old REALLY fast since you hear each song at least 3 times a day between working out and listening to the radio haha. I'm kind of obsessed with Feel So Close by Calvin Harris. I really wanna check out the rest of his music. Gets me pumped :)

Haven't worked out in forever, but today I got off my butt and walked the high school track while my kiddo was at lacrosse practice! Music of choice was a selection of Shinedown and Godsmack (gearing up for the Uproar Festival later this summer!). Depends on my mood - hard rock, grunge, hair band rock from the 80s (yeah Motley Crue!!!), the hip-hop / rap stuff my daughter makes me listen to (love me some PItbull). Whatever keeps me moving and makes me feel good.
