I heard there was some easy equation to figure out how many carbs/calories I need to eat AND burn everyday? Anyone help me out on this? Thank you!

Have you tried using what MFP recommends for you? That works for most people here.

No everywhere and everyone keeps telling me to change my goals. I have NO idea what I'm doing and its so frustrating!

But like how do I know how much I need to exercise in order to lose weight?

exercise 3 X weekly (some kind of cardio) and later add strenght training. eat more if you exercise than what's allotted on MFP

There is no reason to automatically change your goals/macros. Your calories goal (approx. 1400 + exercise cals) looks good and you've lost 20 pounds already. Your progress looks good. Keep doing what you've been doing and only worry about changing things if you hit a plateau (more than a month with no changes in measurements or weight).

As far as exercise goes, it's up to you. Strength training is great, some cardio is good too. There is no right or wrong, there's just what works for you. My only real advice is to stick with a routine for at least two weeks, if not four, before deciding whether or not it's working for you. It takes time to see results, so be patient.

this is a great site to track what food you eat

it is not a great site to discuss carbs. opinions are all over the map. I kindly suggest you do some research and then when you read here the carb lovers and the carb haters you can join in and tell them all your own version.
